Edit masking components in the Multi-Array Provisioning wizard

Storage groups are a collection of devices that are stored on the array. An application, a server, or a collection of servers can use these storage groups.

About this task

One or more parameters can be edited using the following steps.

Steps

  1. Edit the storage group by modifying the name, the service level, or both. Click OK.
  2. Rename the masking view. Click OK.
  3. Edit the port group.
    There are two options:
    • Select a new port group. You specify a port group name, optionally clear the include ports not visible to host checkbox, and select one or more of the displayed ports.
    • Select an existing port group. You select one or more of the displayed ports.

    Click OK.

  4. Rename the host. Click OK.
